Default 3 day vacations including flight & hotel for as low as $45

Thanks to a nice little coupon floating around for use on Expedia.com, you can get a nice getaway for as low as $45. You can also use this for securing a very cheap flight, even if you're not using the hotel.

How it works is this:
When you have a nonrefundable flight + 3 (or more) consecutive nights at most IHG Hotels (Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza, etc), the coupon code 200IHG will discount the price of your package by $200.

Las Vegas is a popular destination for this coupon because of the availability of cheap flights from various cities. For example, from Los Angeles:
Tuesday September 8th LAX-LAS
Depart 8:00 PM, Arrive 9:11 PM
Friday September 11th LAS-LAX
Depart 7:05 PM, Arrive 8:19 PM
3 nights at the Candlewood Suites Las Vegas in a Studio Suite with Queen Bed (1 mile from the Strip).
Total = $235.

To use the coupon, the total before tax must be at least $200 so you need to find something to add that brings up your total to about $245 or higher. Dinner at the Hard Rock is $24, or for those people who are enviro-conscious, a carbon credit is $6.99. You will need to add two magazine subscriptions for $1 each to be able to apply the coupon if selecting the carbon credit.

If you are interested in trying to use this deal from your home, let me know how flexible you are and what airports you can fly out of, and I can try to find you a good deal.
