* It is recommended that trekkers bring their own personal sleeping bag as
bags available may not be warm enough. A four seasons sleeping bag is

We purchased lightweight sleeping bags (only rated for 40 degrees celcius) for about 15 or 20 USD. The super tiny lightweight but warm ones are usually kind spendy (not sure if you need to save money or what). One thing that helped with ours was having an emergency blanket (picked up at Wal Mart for a few $$ - very cheap). Kept us warm sleeping on the very windy coast of Ireland.
Good luck and have fun in Africa.
