Hmmm, if it's a medium hangover then it would have to be a massive greasy-spoon type fry-up and a can of cold not diet coke...

... if its a bad from hell kinda hangover then its dry toast all the way!!

Best; drink one liter of water before you go to sleep sinc emost hangovers are basically caused by dehydration.

Next Best; drink lots of water, maybe a gallon to help reduce the hangover and clean out the liver so you avoid liver damage as much as possible.

Bill's Favorite Soup ( one of our menu choices in Manila )the Day After; Called "Tinola" in the Philippines; a clear broth soup with chicken, ginger, garlic ( optional ) and green papaya ( great for digestion ).

When you're on one of those continuous drinking sprees which last a few days or weeks; As soon as you wake up drink a "Bloody Mary" with a beer chaser OR try drinking a "shandy", beer mixed with sprite/7-Up. about 75% beer 25% soft drink.

OR have a strong coffee with brandy or coffee mixed with either Kahlua or Baileys Irish Cream. B)

When I have a hangover, I'm sure all the things I do to try to get rid of it, don't 'actually' work. But I do have like a hangover ritual.
When I get in from a night out, I eat Pita pockets with butter in them....mmm....
Then when I wake up and make it to the fridge, orange juice is downed pretty sharpish.
After that, if I can't get anyone to do it for me, I make myself a greasy fry up. Bacon, hash browns, beans, fried eggs etc... yum yum.

I normally get dragged into town by a friend whenever I have a hangover, I don't know why this is, but it always happens. So, I make sure I bring a bottle of water with me. Then the all time favourite stop off at a weatherspoons pub for a plate full of nachos with all the necessery toppings and dips.

Now, of course, if I'm really hungover, and am quite ill, then theres nothing on the menu for that day! ha ha.

A couple of my friends say the best hangover is to carry on drinking once you've eaten. But, I just don't have the balls for that! A bottle of Stella just doesn't look as appertising as a glass of orange.

drink vodka-water!!!! i tried this out last night and am feelign fabulous today, even after 10 drinks, which my 115 lb body doesnt usually handle too well....
it's such a washed-up old stripper-turned-housewife kind of drink to have, but add a few limes and it;s fantastic, and NO hangover!

bloody beer = beer + bloody mary mix

good and helps the hangover. also goes well with a big, greasy pizza.

My ritual when I wake up with a hang over is to drink a glass of water with a few advil. Then take a cold bottle of water into a hot bath with me. I dont get out until the bottles gone (which sometimes takes a while... because I feel as if I'm force-feeding myself). I figure the bath is refreshing... plus rehydrating as well.

After that its mexican food all the way baby!! Maybe a bloody mary.. but no one makes good bloody mary's anymore.
