Hey, I'm going to be in Europe most of the summer and may be going by myself I'm not sure about that yet. Most of the trip is open but Ireland and Germany are a must. If any one else is interested in Europe and having fun over the summer let me know.

There seem to be a few people going over to Europe this summer. I'm sure if everyone is kept updated we'll all be able to cross paths at one time or another.
So far for me the plan is to do Spain, France and then Italy with my friend. Split up by the end of July and then my plans get fuzzy. I have to end up in England to meet up with friends... but other than that. I'm open.

See being shown around by a native is the best. I might have to swing over to scotland just for that

My GF and I are going to be arriving London on 29 June, departing from Paris 10 August. Between those times we want to hit Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and maybe others down the road. We would love to meet up with other travelers at any time. I will be getting the itenerary set eventually.... Nice to meet you all...

I will be arriving in London in late June and then make my way to Amsterdam, France and then Spain for the running of the bulls. From there I'm not sure, there are a few options I'm considering. I've been talking to a few people online and a couple of friends are considering it, but no confirmed travelling partners yet. I will go no matter what, but it would be nice to go with someone else. I plan on being gone for as long as my money will hold, hopefully for at least a couple of months.

Hi there ashpunk...beerfest is from 20thsep - 5thOctober. My itinerary is definitely not set in stone. Its hard to accomodate everything. Like now Im thinking maybe I should be in those southern countries (spain, portugal, italy, greece) later (oct onwards) when its colder (and crapier weather) in the north and warmer in the south.

Well spain, france and italy are the only ones set in stone for me... I'm starting in spain the same week as the running of the bulls... then two weeks to get to italy where my friends family has a home. Stay with them for a week or so.... I guess just play it by ear from there. I would really like to go to lichtenstein (sp?) and amsterdam. I'm starting to think I might leave greece for next year.

Yeah, the running of the bulls is definatly going to be a highlight of my trip. I certainly plan on running on one of the days. Have any of you reserved room at a hostel there? At this point I think it is pretty much pointless trying to find room there during the festival for a reasonable price, so I'm thinking I might just sleep in the park. Apparently many people do this and they have lockers in the train station for your backpack. If other people are planning on doing the same thing, we should all make a point to find each other and pick out a spot in the park to sleep.

Well I'm doing a tour starting on the 9th... but I think that I'm going to be there a few days before... so we'll see. I might be sleeping in the park as well since I didnt even think of reserving anything...very smart on my behalf. Ho hum. No worries... I'll just drink tons for warmth

I think sleeping in the park sound great. Reserving a room I never even would have thought of that. I would be very interested in that park idea. Keep me informed.
