Yeah, in regards to Jokers post (and no offense is meant by this...) but get used to people being like that. Telling you what you can and can't eat, telling you why what you're doing is wrong, trying to convince you otherwise, questioning (or interrogating in some cases) you, labeling you, etc. Anytime anyone finds out I'm a vegetarian it's a non stop cycle of them being overly intrusive into something that doesn't concern them.

Dear Jamie:

You suck. Vegetarians suck. You smell funny, too.

In the immortal words of Digital Underground:

Do what ya like, kid

I will say that Asia is a very good place to go if your vegan/vegetarian. I know that at least in China, Taiwan, Thailand there is a lot of vegetarian offerings and China and Taiwan use a lot of tofu in their meals - I would say tofu borders on being more popular than meat, at least based on my observations.

I accidentally bought lunch from a vegatarian buffet one time and didn't even realize it until half-way through the meal. They can do some good things with tofu over there (and I used to hate the stuff).

Your better off with Tofu anyway over there as some of the meat is a bit shady. People in the U.S. get spolied with all of our boneless, skinless, fat-trimmed chicken breasts. The meat sold in this country is barely meat at all anymore it is so cleansed, cleaned, trimmed, etc.

That is NOT the situation in Asia. You know you are eating an animal as most of the animal is usually included on your plate!!

ok i'm sorry if this cheapens the whole thing (which it will) but its always made me wonder, how do vegans and vegitarians feel about oral?

oh and by the way....tofu is a soy product right.....too much soy actually shrinks the human brain...it takes many years, like 15 or so, but it is true....

Pretty much.

(hey, if I didn't throw that in it may have started a highly unnecessary flamewar... and for some reason my sarcasm doesn't always come across online! :D )

Throw what in you stupid jerk???? What kind of flamewar?? Huh??

Should I say I'm just kidding or is it obvious?

Oral? Huh? What's that?

Is tofu shrinking my brain or is it alcohol? I guess my liver will soon tell all.

Hm. I never thought about the ethical ramifications of becoming vegetarian in regards to my sexual habits. If you count a man as an animal, then well I guess its wrong. And of course men are animals.

ok ok ok how about a compromise? vegetarians are spitters?

yeah, but that dosn't work, because you wouldn't ask a vegan/vegiatrian to put a piece of steak in there mouths (or lick/kiss some)... it just sucks (not in the literal way)

well if it pleased the steak to be so treated and the vegetarian wanted to please the steak....
