Hostel Ruthensteiner, Vienna
The Wombat was booked so they nicely referred us to their competition down the street. We stayed at the Summerhouse which is disconnected from the main building. It was a converted apartment complex so every room has a kitchen, shower etc. The staff, Keesha and Luke, were super friendly and helpful (for example, they got us movie times to see Indiana Jones in English). The only downside is that the common room closes early (before midnight). Definitely recommended

I could have sworn I've posted about them before, but I couldn't find it...loved them! Coolest vibe when I went, there were so many musicians staying there so they jammed all night long w/ the provided guitars and piano...(we were at ruthensteiner 2 but partied at the main one until it closed then moved on to the bars)

Good
I stayed here a couple years ago and thought it was good!
Nice location. Ok rooms. Nice court yard for hanging out.
The staff even let me have a piece of gear I had to have mailed to me on my 3 month trip shipped to them, and got it to me safely.
I'd be happy to stay there again.
