International job and volunteer offers
Please use this thread to share links and opportunities for all to see.
International jobs and traineeships opportunities for Canadians :
I'm currently in the first planning phase for a traineeship abroad, and I found this page loaded with addresses of organisations offering jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities for Canadians. I believe most of -if not all- the government and non-government international development organisations are listed on that page. Some of them also have places for non-Canadians.
International and sustainable development openings

For those interested in CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) international internships, here's the direct link : http://www.acdi-cida.gc.ca/internships They will send you overseas and pay for you.
DFAIT used to have a similar program called the YPI (young professionals international), which was the program that sent me down to Washington, DC. Great program, but it was axed by the Harper government.... bastards...

I'll post more through out my search on the net.

The Canadian government has also been pumping work abroad programs here:
http://www.international.gc.ca/experience
* Working holidays;
* Student work abroad programs;
* International co-op placements; and
* Young professional/young worker opportunities.
I am seriously contemplating the young professional placements. I am no longer a student (and don't qualify for co-ops or student opportunities). SWAP doesnt really interest me (i have a couple degree's and have put in 'my time' in crappy jobs ).
Anyone know more about the young professionals program?

Vacancies in NGOs , from which a good number is open to citizens from all countries.
This site offers jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities in NGOs around the world. High concentration of opportunities in the USA. Dozens of new openings are posted daily. Great resource !
idealist.org
p.s. Could a mod please change the words "for Canadians" to "offers", on the title? Thank you !

Seeking employment is so time consuming ! My bachelor degree will be -finally- completed this month and I already started applying for jobs/internships/paid volunteer positions.
So far, I received one offer from a NGO found through idealist.com. Not sure if I will accept it, but it is a very positive start !

That's great! I wish I could apply for anything, but unfortunately my student loans and medical debt cannot be put on hold, and I need to find a paying job.

Oh, but NGOs doesn't mean unpaid ! When you go on the site, try the nonprofit jobs button in the left column. After you select the continent on the right column. There are thousands of paying jobs, especially in the USA.
I forgot to respond to your PM, sorry. But I would have suggested to check this site daily.

Mostly for Americans and mostly just seasonal jobs in the states. Quite a few of the places do offer j-1 visa support though.
