Expats talk for all of you Huck Finn's out there. You rebels with a without a cause. Summer travel is child's play to you.
LOL your experiences navigating European train stations and airports may sometimes be like this:

Actually, it pretty accurately sums up my feelings about Frankfurt Int'l. The worst in my experience. And unfortunately, I've had to travel through there multiple times. Give me Kafka any day.
^my first time solo abroad I landed in Frankfurt literately during the weekday business flights and all that hustle and bustle (it was 7:30am)... I had to find the long distance train station (but wiki travel, thank GOD, had explained this so I'd read about it before) during these busy times and really while I found everything right away, once I found out the next train to Koln wasn't for another half hour, I sank down on to the bench and was like "holy shit". then the tain was fucking cramme with people - the only time I experienced that the whole time I was in Europe.
so I guess I didn't have a bad experience, but the Frankfurt airport, especially during the times I was there, is not a place where you can mosey and doddle around if you're not sure where you're going - you better move with a damn purpose or you'll get run over
EDIT: also the area when you check in with your airline is so fucking enormous and doesn't make any sense. the airlines are all listed at area A, B, C, yuo know, their respective areas and A is SOOOOOOOOOOOO far from B, I mean like a 15 minute walk and I remember finding my airline at area C so I walked ALL THE WAY OVER THERE to find out I actually needed to go back to A. ZOMG I was so pissed.
