Default Anyone wanna host a travel writer?

Ok so this request isn't for me, but I thought maybe someone might be interested.
I was reading the Sydney Morning Herald blog, 'The Backpacker' and noticed this note at the end of his most recent article (which is kinda funny, The World's Most Disappointing Tourist Attractions, anyone?)
anyway, he said
Quote:
Ex-pats and overseas readers!
I need your help! I'm about to head off on a lap of the globe - my recently renamed Worldwide Web Tour. But here's the catch: I want to come stay with you, and see the world through your eyes. Show me the real sights of your city; show me how you live. I don't care if you're in Toronto or Tbilisi, Bangkok or Buenos Aires - if you're willing to let a friendly, mildly alcoholic travel writer crash on your couch for a night or two, hit me on Facebook, or email bengroundwater@gmail.com. I leave in April - hope to see you then.
Just thought I'd pass the message along, if anyone did want to host this guy and be a part of one of his articles!

Hmmm...interesting. I agree about the Spanish steps. It's cool the way it's situated, but it's only a flight of steps!

I moved this to the news article section so it get's more attention.

It is an *ok* place to sit and people watch but you'll get swarmed by the illegals trying to sell you knockoff designer purses. Personally, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon area are equally nice and they get a little more police traffic so you aren't harassed as much.

Quick tip, for guys that want to take their girls to the Trevi Fountain at night, for heaven's sake don't:

1.) ever support the guys selling the roses
2.) go early in the evening; instead hit it up around 3a
