OK, another first timer here, just wondering, when you stay at a hostel do you leave your clothes and stuff there in the day while you're out exploring, is it safe or will it be stolen?

Hi faith! If you're staying at the hostel that night, yes, you can leave your stuff in the hostel room. It's great when they have lockers in the room, but if they don't, then be sure to lock everything up with your own padlock. It's pretty safe, but there have been some exceptions... If you're checking out that day, but want to look around town some more, then you can checkout, and usually they have a place where you can store or place your backpack and come back for it later right before your departure. Any other questions?

OK, another hostel question. I get super cold at night and while I know that they have heat and stuff, what is up in the way of blankets? Do they provide them and are they usually pretty thick? Nothing wrecks a night of sleep for me more then being cold!

You could always cozy up next to a nice warm Qwardian.

This, I think kinda answer my spazzy backpacking question. Was gunna say Heard people say about get a backpack with a day bag so yuo don't have to lug everything around all day every day. But withought the risk of sounding too dense where would you put your bag if you are camping?I am going to America for 3 months with my boyfriend do places here have lockers where you can leave and collect later?
