Hi,

Though I'm a newbie to posting, I've been reading these boards for over a year.

My question is regarding the following: I have a test on Monday that I need to take for grad school that is being administered at Eurosites-La Chapelle (69 ter, Rue de la Chapelle, Paris). Right now I am studying Belgium, but will be taking a train to Paris either this Friday or this Saturday. I've been trying to find a hotel within walking distance of this testing center for quite some time, but so far have been unsucessful. I tried contacting the testing center itself, and nobody has returned my phone calls or emails....so I was wondering if there is somebody out there that knows of a hotel within walking distance of this address (no hostels please.. I need to be as well rested as possible the night before!!), or can point me in the right direction of where to look.

Thank you so much!!!!

Nat

Check www.etaphotels.com. They're generally cheap, but clean and private and there are several around Paris. They are also usually within easy walking distance of a metro/bus line, so if there isn't one immediately within walking distance, there is probably one very close.

Hope that's somewhat helpful.

Good luck with your test.

Paris is very easy and cheep to get around using the metro so I wouldn't think it's as big an issue to get within walking distance of the testing centre. As long as the centre is within walking distance of the metro you'll be fine.

There's a Formule 1 Hotel at Porte de St. Ouen, which is not too far from where you need to be.

Also, anything along the #12 (green) metro line (which terminates at Porte de la Chapelle) would probably be ok. Major stops include Pigalle, St. Lazare, Concorde, and south in Montparnasse.

Thanks you guys for your help! I'm planning on calling a list of some of these hotels and hopefully everything will go well.

Have a great weekend!

Paris is a very big and beautiful city around the world. Although Paris is capital of France. According to me there are lots of hotels are available in Paris. You have to check about it.

Paris hotel located in the heart of many of the city, near the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre Museum, Champs Elysees and Rue Shengshengannuo, the famous Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Tuileries gardens, the Elysee Palace Museum, the Invalides, the Seine River in Paris, cut, and other famous landmarks of Paris is obviously the most expensive and most luxurious hotel in the city.
