Hi following the Veggie link maybe a free food topic would go down well to help stretch those troubled dollars and stingy pounds in places far and wide.


My tip is the Hari Krishna Temple above Govinda's Resturant in Soho St London. Every lunch time there is a lecture and then a free lunch. They do ask for donations but you don't have to. You do have to sit and listen to the lecture. Don't worry the Krishna's will not kidnap, or brainwash you, there are no special chemicals in the food (i've heard the myths) that make you susceptible to the religion.

PLus every sunday they also have a feast, so go along enjoy the event, have fun.

Free food is a factor at most hindu temples throughout the world, it is called prassadam ask for it.

So my free food tip is in most Hari Krishna temples throughout the world and all hindu temples in India you will get a free meal. Just be polite, respect the customs and you will be treated nicely too.

I think they have this orangish crunchy noodly type-stuff with raisins - it's really good! :stoked:
